Teddi Mellencamp admits RHOBH axing has been ‘like a break-up’

‘I feel sad’: Teddi Mellencamp admits RHOBH axing has been ‘like a break-up’… and reveals she first learned about her firing on DailyMail.com

Teddi Mellencamp is opening up about her firing from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and how she discovered the news from DailyMail.com’s exclusive story.

Speaking on her podcast Teddi Tea Pod, the 39-year-old reality star said found out she’d been let go after her girlfriends texted her saying, ‘It’s all over the DailyMail that you’re no longer a Housewife.’

Explaining why she thought she was axed, the daughter off singer John Mellencamp said: ‘I filmed so many amazing things that were never shown on the show…it should have been the writing on the wall.’

She added: ‘All the things that make me a likable, redeeming human being were not shown on the season. So if you only see a certain part of somebody, it’s really hard to connect with them.’

Teddi, who shares children Dove, seven months, Slate, six, and Cruz, nine, with husband Edwin Arroyave, also reveals that she’s still in touch with the girls and Andy Cohen.

‘I’m still on a group text with Erika, Kyle, and Rinna, and there are days when I’m like ‘why do I feel sad today’. It really does feel like a break-up,’ she said.

‘I reached out to Dorit…we’ve had extreme highs and lows on the show, but [I told her] I wanted to let you know that I just want to wish you the best. Dorit has a good heart.’

‘I did hear from Andy, and I heard on his podcast where he said her post was the most authentic departure post he’s ever seen,’ she added.

A production insider told DailyMail.com last month: ‘Teddi will be advised this week that she will not be picked up for another season.’

‘She is boring and stale and does not offer anything to the franchise with her robotic and staged delivery when interacting with the other cast members.’ the insider said

'The network has not been impressed with her performance on the show' the source added. She is seen here with Brandi Glanvill in the most recent season 10

However, Teddi is adamant that she doesn’t want to be the bitter ex-housewife that slams everyone on Twitter.

‘I’m really excited not to be a part of Twitter,’ she added. ‘I’m putting it out there to all my Tea Pod listeners and to you, I don’t want to be the ex-housewife that is tweeting on the show years after I have been on the show about other people’s problems.’

‘I never want to be that person. I never want to be the person shading somebody years after… Camille Grammer makes it her sole mission in life to try and put me down on Twitter. That is my biggest goal.’
