She began: ‘Well, I’m 25. I’ve lived on the Sunshine Coast pretty much nearly my whole life, and I played rugby league as well for four years.’

But just a few seconds later, Bec was incorrectly billed as 24 in an on-screen graphic.

The text at the bottom of the screen read: ‘Bec, 24, Senior Beauty Consultant.’

Bec turned 25 in January, so she would have been that age for about six months by the time she met Locky via Zoom.

Her correct age is displayed on Channel 10’s office website for The Bachelor.

Meanwhile, Bec’s arrival generated plenty of drama among the cast on Wednesday’s episode.

Many viewers also complained that it was too late into the season to introduce a new lady into the mix.
