Gavin Rossdale goes shirtless to practice his tennis stroke with a coach over the Labor Day holiday

While some celebrities are taking to the beach or their boats to celebrate the Labor Day holiday, Gavin Rossdale is spending the day on the tennis court.

The 54-year-old Bush singer was spotted going shirtless while practicing his tennis stroke on a court in Malibu on Monday afternoon.

The frontman was practicing under the tutelage of the celebrity tennis coach known simply as Coach Patrick. 

Rossdale rocked a neon green Nike headband while playing tennis shirtless in camo shorts.

He also wore brown sunglasses with two black necklaces around his neck as he practiced his game with Coach Patrick.

The singer completed his look with multi-colored Nike tennis shoes and royal blue socks as he showed off his toned frame on the court.

Rossdale made headlines last month when he was seen stepping out with a mystery blonde at an outdoor market in Malibu.

He was spotted with his arm around the young blonde at the Trancas Country Market in Malibu on Tuesday.

The singer was seen taking his beloved Pomeranian pooch Chewy for a walk as they strolled through the market. 

Rossdale was married to No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani from 2002 until their split in 2015, and they share three sons together, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. 

The singer was dating Sophia Thomalla from 2017 to 2018 and he was seeing Natalie Golba last year. 

He recently released his band Bush’s eighth studio album, The Kingdom, which debut in July but was originally supposed to be released last fall. 

Rossdale wrote all 14 songs on the album himself, which peaked at 14 on the Billboard 200 album charts.

The band is set to embark on an Australian tour in 2021, which kicks off February 16 at FBF Stadium in Perth.

The 13-performance tour wraps up July 5 at the Download Festival in Donnington.
