Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: ‘I want to appeal directly to Kashif Khan to come forward so that we can establish what happened that night.

‘I would also appeal to anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch.

‘The response from the public following the release of CCTV images was excellent and I would like to thank everyone that got in touch and continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact us.

‘I want to also ask people to not speculate on social media. This does nothing to assist us or the family of Andell during this really difficult time.’
