Selena Gomez purchased one of the late Tom Petty’s homes earlier this year and now that she is settled in, the star feels inspired by the property where Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac once spent time.
The former Disney actress, who is promoting her song Ice Cream with BLACKPINK, told Zane Lowe on New Music Daily on Apple Music on Friday that the walls have vibes.
‘It’s that spirit, and knowing Stevie Nicks was here… There’s so much history, so when I’m in that zone, I feel like it’s very special,’ said the Texas-born siren.

The 11,000 square foot property boasts six bedrooms and 10 baths and also features plenty of spare rooms suitable for leisure activities as well as an in-home recording booth.

The property features a wine cellar, a gym, a massage room and a work space, as well as an extra kitchen.
There is also a swimming pool with hot tub and an outdoor covered barbecue area that could seat at least 10 people.
The inside of the house has a charming feel with plenty of beamed ceilings that are high. The entire dwelling is painted white and has large windows that lend an airy, beachy cottage vibe.

‘The Zooming has been hard to record; it’s been very difficult, because I love being with people, and I love creating together. So that part, obviously, can’t happen right now, but it’s been so nice. It’s like my little lair,’ she said.
Gomez also said she was happy to work with BLACKPINK on Ice Cream.

‘I just think that they know… They have this thing about them… I had such a good time with them over FaceTime, and when we could talk, and originally, we were going to be in person and create the video, so that kind of changed. But it felt so fun.

‘Yeah, and luckily, when this song came out on song cam, we had it for a while, and we had the idea to have Selena on it, because we obviously knew she would fit into it right away. And yeah, it happened very naturally.’
They added they would be touring if it were not for the pandemic.
‘I think we would be on our world tour right now. Yeah, and then have our little days off in different countries, and maybe do a little tour around the cities, because we never really have the time to go travel around the world, so I think with this song, I hope we could bring that somewhere to the people that are listening at home.’
