Jenna Coleman has revealed she would be up for donning a ‘fat suit and prosthetics’ to reprise her regal role in a possible fourth season of Victoria.

The actress, 34, said she would be delighted to ditch the corset and play Queen Victoria in her later years as she dazzled in couture outfits for a stunning new interview with Tatler Magazine.

Jenna said: ‘There may be another series, I’m waiting until I age a bit more…There’s too much good story.

‘I mean, do I get into a fat suit? Do I get into prosthetics?…God, I’d take that over a corset any day. I’ve done three years of those…I’m, like, “Bring on the fat suit! It’s fine!”’

The star – who recently split from boyfriend and Victoria co-star Tom Hughes after a four-year romance – also spoke about the possibility of having children.

She said: ‘I mean, how on earth you manage it in this industry, I have no idea.

‘Hopefully that will maybe be faced sometime soon: sets with more crèches for children, things like that.

‘I can’t quite comprehend how that would possibly work, but I would definitely like children one day.’

The star also reflected on how she rolls with the path that life takes her on, saying: ‘Jenna on learning how to roll with the way that life takes her:

‘As you get older, you realise there’s no point in trying to control certain aspects. You have to roll with the punches.

‘ I mean, these past few years have been wonky, haven’t they? You can’t really make plans, because you might get hit by a pandemic.’

Her raven tresses were pulled into a chic updo, while her pretty features were enhanced with smoky shadow and red lipstick.

A second glowing snap saw her don a rose pink crocheted dress which flashed a silver and pink sequinned bra below.

Jenna wore her brunette locks in a bouncy blowdry paired with sparkling crystal earrings.

It was reported back in July that Jenna had split from Tom, with the actor spotted leaving her London home last month, just a week after she handed over the keys to the house they shared following their shock split.

MailOnline contacted representatives for Tom Hughes and Jenna Coleman for comment at the time.

Jenna is said to be ‘terribly sad’ after splitting from Tom after a four-year romance.

The actress and her Victoria co-star fell in love on set while playing the lead roles of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in the ITV period costume drama.

Snaps showed the star handing over keys to her ex at the door of her new pad five miles from their home.

An insider told The Sun that the pair have since met up in an attempt to keep things ‘as friendly and civil as possible.’

The source said: ‘They are trying to salvage a friendship but obviously these are trying times, and it’s not easy.

‘Both Tom and Jenna are terribly sad, but the relationship ran its course. There was no third party involved.

‘Jenna’s career is going from strength to strength, she’s being offered increasingly more roles abroad, especially Los Angeles, and she wants to focus on this while she’s still young.’
