Sunrise’s Samantha Armytage is left in hysterics during a segment about dog daycare as two pooches start HUMPING each other on camera

The Sunrise team learned first-hand about the perils of live television on Wednesday.

Weatherman Sam Mac, 38, was presenting a segment inside a dog daycare facility when two pooches began humping each other next to his leg.

Mortified, Sam awkwardly tried to draw viewers’ attention away from the randy canines by continuing his interview with the daycare owners.

Hosts Samantha Armytage, 43, and David ‘Kochie’ Koch, 64, attempted to stifle their laughter for a few seconds before finally exploding in hysterics.

‘It’s like the playboy mansion over there!’ Kochie cackled.

‘I’m going to be one of those viral memes,’ Sam lamented as the animals continued their X-rated display.

‘In this segment, we’ve had more action than they did on Farmer Wants A Wife!’ he added.

Unfortunately, things went from bad to worse with the pooches began defecting on the floor around Sam.

Samantha, who owns an adorable Labrador named Banjo, chortled: ‘I come to work to escape this!’

‘Kochie will vomit!’ she added as her co-host began making choking sounds.

Clutching his stomach in jest, Kochie cried out: ‘Oh, no, not this early in the morning!’

Sports reporter Mark Beretta also took the chance to poke fun at the weatherman’s predicament, remarking: ‘It was going well until Sam turned up!’
