Christmas bells are ringing already for Justin Hartley.
The This Is Us actor has scored the starring role in a movie adaptation of the smash hit Yuletide novel The Noel Diary by Richard Paul Evans.
The 43-year-old star will also be an executive producer on the upcoming project, which is being made for Netflix, according to Deadline.

The soap star will lead the movie as a romance novelist coping with the death of his mother, with whom he had a difficult relationship.
She wills her son the house she threw him out of as a teen, and he goes back to the property to sort through her belongings.
He discovers a mysterious diary by a woman named Noel and also meets a woman named Rachel who grew up in an adoptive home and is looking for her birth mother.
Once Upon A Time In America actor Treat Williams, 58, Die Hard actress Bonnie Bedelia, 72, will be featuring alongside Justin in the movie.

His latest gig comes amid a swirl of publicity surrounding the breakup of his marriage to Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause.
On the new season of Selling Sunset she tearfully claimed that he informed her of the divorce filing via text in November and that ’45 minutes later, the world new.’
‘He’s irritated that she’s airing their private information publicly and knows there is more to the story than is being told,’ said an Us Weekly source this month.
‘His close friends and family know what really happened, as does Chrishell, so ultimately it’s her choice of what is put out there.’

Chrishell also liked multiple tweets that alleged Justin cheated on her with Sofia Pernas, who is now his girlfriend.
