To prepare for the gruelling event, he’s been going on regular 50 to 60-kilometre bike rides around Sydney.

‘The best part is that I enjoy it and the worst part is wearing Lycra – and that I can’t get angry at bikes on the road now as I know how it feels to be abused by car drivers!’ he joked.

The My Kitchen Rules judge is even planning on riding 400 kilometres throughout September, raising money for a cancer charity.

‘Manu thinks Pete is stranger than strange,’ a source told the publication at the time.
