Jennifer Metcalfe enjoyed an al fresco lunch friends on Sunday afternoon as she made her first public appearance since confirming her relationship with the father of her son is over.
The former Hollyoaks star appeared to be in high spirits while dining out with a small group in Greater Manchester, days after announcing her separation from Greg Lake in an Instagram post.
Jennifer, best known for her role Mercedes McQueen in the long-running soap, laughed and joked with her friends as they chatted over a table laden with plates and wine glasses.

The actress looked relaxed in a grey top and loose fitting summer trousers during an animated lunch date in leafy suburb Altrincham.
The appearance comes just two days after Jennifer revealed her relationship with Greg, with whom she raises son Daye, three, secretly ended two months ago.
She wrote: ‘Greg and I decided to part ways amicably a couple months ago.
