Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson shares cute photo of daughter Marlie Mae ‘mastering the shocked face’

Like the rest of us, Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson has had to find interesting ways to keep himself and daughter Marlie Mae distracted in self-isolation.

And on Sunday, the former Bachelor, 33, announced his adorable little girl, one, has finally mastered the ‘shocked’ face, as he shared a selfie of the moment to Instagram.

‘After weeks of hard work, I’m proud to announce Marlie-Mae has mastered the ‘shocked face’, he wrote underneath the image. 

In the picture, a freshly bathed Marlie-Mae is seen mugging alongside her doting father as they both pull surprised faces. 

Marlie looks cute as a button wrapped in a towel, as Matty captured the comedic milestone. 

The post comes just weeks after the reality TV hunk banned her from wearing makeup.

In a tongue-in-cheek video shared to Instagram, he had a strict word with Marlie Mae, telling her that she can’t wear makeup for ‘at least 20 years’. 

In the footage, Marlie looks into the camera with her brow furrowed and appears to have highlighter on her nose, cheeks and forehead. 

‘The face she pulls when I tell her off for getting into Laura’s highlighter,’ Matty captioned the photo. 

In a subsequent video, the former reality star can be heard telling off his daughter while she plays with an empty AirPods case. 

He captioned the video: ‘Sometimes you just have to put your foot down.’ 

Matty and Laura met and fell in love on The Bachelor in 2017. 

In May, they added to their brood and adopted a three-legged rescue dog named Buster.
