Married At First Sight star Michael Brunelli urges children to ’embrace who they are’ and ‘take risks’ as he officially resigns from his job as a primary school teacher

Married At First Sight star Michael Brunelli has officially resigned from his job as a primary school teacher after taking a year off following his rise to reality TV fame.

The 29-year-old made the announcement in a post shared to his Instagram on Sunday, in which he shared the inspiring’ final lessons’ he had learnt during his years working in education.

Michael reassured young boys that they ‘weren’t any less masculine’ for not liking sports, told young girls that there was ‘no such thing as a “man’s job” and also reminded youngsters that crying was a ‘sign of how brave they were.’

Michael shared a side by side snap of himself, which showed the before and after transformation of his seven-year tenure working as a teacher.

The personal trainer added a lengthy caption which was aimed at youngsters.

‘Boys, you don’t need to like sport. If you’re passionate about fashion or makeup, then follow it. It doesn’t make you any less masculine.⁣⁣⁣

‘Girls, there is no such thing as a “man’s job”. You can be, do and have WHATEVER you want in your life. You’re only restricted by your imagination.’

Michael continued: ‘Failures and mistakes are going to happen EVERY DAY! They are good… why? Because they are an opportunity to learn and improve.⁣⁣⁣

‘Be scared and act anyway. You’ll never know what you can truly achieve if you don’t take risks in life.⁣⁣⁣’

The MAFS star added: ‘Crying doesn’t make you weak. Being able to express your emotions is super important to being healthy… and it’s a sign of how brave you are.

‘Those YouTubers, TikTokers and Instagrammers you follow… they didn’t get to where they are overnight. If you want something you need to spend A LOT of time working on it!⁣⁣⁣
