Amanda Bynes hasn’t married her fiancé Paul Michael after he posted a photo of their wedding rings

Amanda Bynes is NOT married to fiancé Paul Michael… despite him posting a photo of their wedding rings

Amanda Bynes’ fiancé Paul Michael led fans of the one-time movie star to believe they’d gotten married on Friday after he shared a photo of their wedding rings.

But the two aren’t yet married, Us Weekly confirmed on Saturday.

The newest ring photo appeared to be an update of one the couple shared back in March.

False alarm: Amanda Bynes’ fans thought the 34-year-old actress had gotten married after her fiancé Paul Michael posted their rings on Instagram on Friday, but Us Weekly reports they’re still not married

Bynes attorney, David Esquibias, was quick to shut down speculation about his client.

‘Amanda is not married,’ he said.

Amanda, 34, previously shared the same photo of the rings and her and Paul’s hands in February, so it’s not clear what Paul was trying to convey with his post, which he didn’t bother to caption.

‘Engaged to tha love of my life,’ she captioned the ring photo in February. Shortly afterward, she posted a selfie of the two which she captioned, ‘Lover.’

Although Paul’s ring appeared to be a gold wedding band, he may have been wearing it as an engagement band of his own.

Still single: Paul reposted a photo originally used to mark their engagement. But Amanda's attorney, David Esquibias, said she had not gotten married

Amanda and her fiancé have previously made false claims about the nature of their relationship.

Back in March, they briefly broke up, but within days she had announced on social media that she was pregnant with Paul’s child.

Bynes’ attorney set the record straight at the time and said she was not pregnant.

Amanda, who has been under a conservatorship since 2014, has recently been working toward her bachelor’s degree from the Fashion Institute Of Design and Merchandise, after receiving her associate’s degree from the same institution in June of last year.

In a selfie from May, Amanda wrote, ‘Update: Getting my Bachelor’s degree from FIDM. Taking online classes, trying to get a 4.0 GPA :]. Looking forward to starting my online store in the future.’

She also revealed that she had been in treatment for the two months prior and was working on ‘coping skills to help with my social anxiety that caused me to drop out of school months ago.’

‘Back on track and doing well!’ she added on an upbeat note.

The former All That star continued by mentioning she was in a ‘transitional living’ home and having regular therapy throughout the week, while still being engaged to Paul.

In May, when her attorney denied that she was pregnant, he also revealed that she wasn’t currently in a sober living environment but was ‘sheltering at a safe environment’ amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The actress had been ordered by a judge to enter a mental health treatment facility in March, which she initially agreed to.

However, she later changed her mind, and her lawyer simply said she’s getting treatment for ‘ongoing mental health issues.’
