Savannah Chrisley reveals she had a huge cyst and scar tissue removed as she gives update on her THIRD surgery for ‘unbearably painful’ endometriosis

Earlier this week she revealed she was set to undergo surgery for the third time for her endometriosis after feeling ‘unbearable’ pain and being ‘insanely self-conscious’.  

And on Friday Savannah Chrisley gave her followers an update on the surgery revealing doctors removed tissue from around her organs as well as a ‘huge cyst’.

The TV star wrote, ‘UPDATE: Had a huge cyst they had to remove. Found endo in/on my uterus, ovaries, bladder, and surrounding areas. So Dr. Sinervo removed that along with a good bit of scar tissue. He also cut some nerves to help with pain.’

‘Time to recover’: Savannah Chrisley gave her followers an update on Friday after her third surgery for endometriosis 

The 23-year-old was also full of emotion as she thanked her medical team for doing such a great job. 

‘Can’t tell you guys how many times I’ve cried…Dr. Sinervo and Dr. Winer are truly gifts from God. 

‘Dr. Sinervo asked to pray with me before surgery and then they both held my hands in the OR until I was put to sleep. It’s time to give myself time to recover.. #endometriosis #endowarrior’

With her update Savannah shared a photo of her recovering in the hospital in Atlanta with Dr. Sinervo.

On Monday the reality star shared a snap of herself holding a folder while writing that she’s been struggling ‘big time’ and feeling ‘insanely self conscious,’ adding that she feels like her ‘body has given up on me’.

In her stories, the star also revealed that due to her endometriosis medication, she had previously gained 30/40 pounds.

She shared the image and heartfelt caption on Monday night to her Instagram, kicking it off with ‘VULNERABLE MOMENT FOR MY LADIES.’

Savannah said: ‘I haven’t talked about this much because honestly… I have struggled BIG TIME. I’m insanely self conscious and just feel like my body has given up on me.’

The Chrisley Knows Best star continued: ‘I was diagnosed with Endometriosis when I was 18 and it’s been quite the struggle. The pain at times is unbearable and the toll it takes on my emotional/psychological health is pretty rough at times.’

She said: ‘Tomorrow I have my 3rd surgery. I have found a specialist in Atlanta and he is ONE OF A KIND! I will actually be posting a VLOG on this weeks experience in the coming weeks’ [SIC].

Savannah concluded with: ‘We;re about to get REALLL vulnerable ladies… do you struggle with Endometriosis? I wanna hear your stories. Let’s help and inspire one another #endometriosis #endowarrior.’ 

On her Instagram stories, Savannah reposted an image of herself that the Today show used on their page; she captioned it with: ‘Fun fact: This photo was taken when I had an IUD and was on a medication at the highest dosage for six months… and gained 30/40 pounds… #EndoSucks.’
