Boy, 12, is found safe and well following an overnight search after he disappeared from his home after going on a bike ride

  • Police are appealing for information to find Rhys Craven, from Bangor, Wales 
  • He was last seen riding a white bike in Menai Bridge on Thursday August 20
  • Rhys was wearing black trousers, a green t-shirt and black North Face jacket 

A schoolboy, 12, has been found safe and well following an overnight search after he failed to return home from a bike ride.  

Police launched an urgent appeal for Rhys Craven after he went missing from his home in Bangor, Wales. 

He was last seen riding his bike in Menai Bridge on Thursday, August 20.

The youngster was wearing black trousers, a green Adidas t-shirt, an Under Armour hat and a black North Face jacket with white writing on the left arm. 

He was riding a white push bike which has black pedals and red wheel rims.  

On Twitter, North Wales Police said: ‘We are pleased to say 12 year old Rhys Craven from Bangor has been found safe and well.
