Madonna thanks Jamaica for making her 62nd birthday a memorable one: ‘We will never forget you!’

She recently threw an extravagant bash at GoldenEye in Jamaica in celebration of her 62nd birthday.

And Madonna expressed her sincere thanks to the island country in a reflective post shared with her 15.5million Instagram followers on Wednesday.

‘Thank you Jamaica,’ she began. ‘We have picked your flowers, Eaten your fruit, Danced to your Music, Enjoyed every sunset.’

‘We will never forget you! ♥️ #birthday #leo #bobmarley,’ concluded the Material Girl songstress, who included a stunning self-portrait that was expertly edited by a super fan.

The aesthetically pleasing edit superimposed a selfie that Madonna posted to her Instagram on Tuesday over a blossom-filled backdrop, while a humming bird buzzed near her face.

When followers of the 80s pop queen pressed play on the post, they were met with the sound of Bob Marley’s hit track Rastaman Vibration.

On Tuesday,  Madonna shared footage from her mask-free birthday party, which took place on Sunday.

The self-made superstar (last name Ciccone) didn’t let her hip injury keep her from wildly dancing during the outdoor, seaside party.

Three-time Grammy winner Diplo famously ‘ruined’ Joe Jonas’ wedding to Sophie Turner by livestreaming the private Las Vegas nuptials and, this time, he revealed he was in the small town of Oracabessa in St. Mary. 

She definitely had familiar support including from her eldest daughter Lourdes, 23, whose nickname is Lola.

MailOnline has therefore deduced that Madonna chose the 52-acre resort GoldenEye, where Ian Fleming penned his 14 James Bond books, as the lavish setting for her birthday festivities.

The 41-year-old DJ (born Thomas Wesley) produced tracks for the seven-time Grammy winner’s albums Rebel Heart in 2015 and Madame X and 2019.

In her four-minute behind-the-scenes video, Madonna improvised a song about putting on a black dress and enlisted her seven-year-old twin daughters Estere + Stelle to sing back up.

The I Don’t Search I Find singer’s 15-year-old son David Banda rocked red silk pajamas as he showed off his dance moves at the party.    

Her 14-year-old daughter Mercy James looked pretty in a colorful patterned top and matching shorts.

But it was little Stelle who brought the house down to cheers and applause with her leg-twisting moves on the dance floor.

Madonna was pictured dancing with her back-up dancer-turned-toyboy Ahlamalik Williams, 26, who also brought along his brother Ahlijah.

In fact, the Material Girl invited nine of her back-up dancers as well as her make-up artist Aaron Smith Henrikson, hairstylist Andy Lecompte, and vocal producer/engineer/mixer Lauren D’Elia. 

No one was seen wearing masks or face coverings at Madonna’s party despite Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness urging everyone to wear a mask and social distance ‘as much as possible.’ 

As of Tuesday, there have been 1,129 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Jamaica leading to 14 deaths – according to Johns Hopkins University.

Starting this Thursday, all Americans 12 and older visiting Jamaica will be required to obtain a negative COVID-19 PCR test prior within 10 days of arrival.

Madonna revealed back on April 30 that she tested positive for coronavirus antibodies. 

When it came time to blow out her birthday candles on a white-frosted cake, the two-time Golden Globe winner asked her eldest child, Lourdes Leon, to help her make a wish.

The 23-year-old daughter of trainer Carlos León flaunted significant side-boob in a backless green dress for her mother’s party.

Thankful for my children on my birthday and every day,’ she gushed on Tuesday. ‘They are full of heart, creativity, intelligence, and fire.’

Noticeably missing from the footage was Madonna’s 20-year-old son Rocco, who’s lived in London with her ex-husband #2 Guy Ritchie since 2015.

Last Friday, Dua Lipa dropped the lead single Levitating from Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album, which features Madge and rapper Missy Elliott.

The I Rise songstress has also been keeping busy working on a fully-authorized screenplay about her extraordinary life and four-decade career with Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody.
