Karl Stefanovic was left red-faced on Thursday after his daggy year 12 formal pictures surfaced on the Today show.
During the embarrassing live segment, co-host Ally Langdon revealed that she’d tracked down the early 1990s photos after contacting Karl’s brothers for help.
The first image that flashed on-screen showed an awkward-looking Karl dressed in an oversized tuxedo with his date, named Noella, who looked elegant in a fitted black dress.

Allison joked that he was doing his best ‘Blue Steel’ impression, referring to a pose from the film Zoolander, adding: ‘I mean, you were good looking.’
A red-faced Karl explained that he didn’t have a date, so one of his pals arranged for a friend named Noella to attend on Karl’s arm.

The Today team couldn’t fault Brooke’s look, with Allison remarking: ‘She looks gorgeous! We can’t sledge her for that. She just looks unreal.’
