Amanda Kloots surrounded by friends during ‘first weekend alone’ at home purchased with Nick Cordero

Amanda Kloots recently moved into the Los Angeles home she purchased with her late husband Nick Cordero, who passed away from COVID-19 complications in July.

And the 38-year-old dancer had her closest girlfriends by her side as she and her one-year-old son Elvis spent their ‘first weekend alone’ at the newly renovated Laurel Canyon abode.

‘My best girlfriends, Rockette sisters, came to be by my side this past weekend. They dropped everything to help me adjust in my home for the first weekend alone,’ wrote Kloots, who shared a photo of the get together to Instagram on Wednesday.

The sweet snapshot showed Amanda and her ‘Rockette sisters’ carrying a homemade sign that had the name of Cordero’s hit single Live Your Life written on it in red, blue, and yellow lettering.

With Amanda and Elvis in the middle, the group posed for the shot, while donning matching white tees that had various positive affirmations printed on them.

They also each wore white heart-shaped sunglasses and face masks.

‘I am so lucky to have these ladies in my life. We support each other, cheer each other on, cry, laugh and talk for hours! HOORAY FOR FRIENDS!’ concluded Amanda in her post’s caption.

Amanda and Elvis officially moved into their new home last Wednesday, with the dancer marking the new chapter in their lives by sharing a photo from the day her and Nick ‘got [the] keys’ to the home.

The heartbreaking snapshot showed Nick sitting on the floor with Elvis in his lap as a smiley Amanda cozied up next to him.

‘This is us, the day we got our keys to our first home before we started renovations. I remember taking this picture, documenting the “before” so we could show the progress each month,’ she began.

‘Nick bought us this house. He found the listing, insisted on going to the open house and did all the work to get the mortgage.

‘He knew we needed a home and I’m so grateful, especially now, for his foresight,’ explained Kloots, who formerly lived on the East Coast with Cordero before making the big move to Los Angeles.

Amanda ‘thought [she would] be terrified’ about moving into the home after Nick’s tragic passing, but, instead, she said that being in the home has ‘oddly been comforting.’

‘Isn’t that funny how the things you get yourself so worried about emotionally sometimes aren’t that bad in the end? I think this is because I know this was Nicks dream and today Elvis and I are bringing that dream to life. And in the words of my favorite Broadway director, Susan Stroman, “Do it full out with great conviction!” she concluded.

Amanda and Nick, who wed in 2017, had just embarked on remodeling their house when Nick became sick. He was hospitalized in LA at the end of March suffering from pneumonia.
