Pregnant Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson will become Weight Watchers’ first ‘postpartum ambassador’ – but is in no rush to ‘bounce back’ after giving birth

Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson lost 9kg before falling pregnant to husband Cameron Merchant.

But while the WW ambassador [formerly Weight Watchers] is excited to fit into her old clothes again, she’s in no rush to do so.

Jules, 38, told Who magazine on Thursday that she doesn’t feel the pressure to ‘bounce back’ to her pre-baby body anytime soon.

‘I’ve never felt more feminine or sexier,’ she said of her heavily pregnant frame ahead of the baby’s September due date.

Jules started her journey as a WW ambassador in September 2019 after putting on 10 kilograms since filming for Married At First Sight ended in September 2018.

She lost an impressive 9kg before marrying Cameron during an A Current Affair TV special wedding in November 2019.

‘I lost weight with WW, because I wanted to be as fit and strong as I could to carry a child,’ Jules said.

When addressing whether she felt the pressure to ‘bounce back’, she responded: ‘Not at all… I’m not going to rush into anything, but I’m looking forward to being WW’s first postpartum ambassador – and also getting back into my old clothes.’

Jules and Cameron announced they were expecting their first child in April, but have chosen to keep the unborn child’s gender a surprise.

The couple say they’d be happy with a boy or a girl, but have been drawn to pinks and florals when buying baby-related items.

Weight Watchers addressed rumours the TV star had been dropped as an ambassador after announcing her pregnancy earlier this year.

The global company revealed on Instagram Jules wouldn’t be following their program while pregnant, but would remain as an ambassador.

The statement explained: ‘When growing a baby, the nutritional needs are different to weight loss. So six weeks after having a baby we welcome members back.’
