‘I saw it!’ Grant Denyer claims the mythical Blue Mountains black panther he spotted on his farm is real – and says it’s ’10 times bigger than a domestic cat’

He recently claimed that he’d spotted the mythical Blue Mountains black panther on his Bathurst farm.

And on Sunday, Grant Denyer said the mythical creature is definitely real because he  saw it ‘with his own two eyes’.

In an interview on Channel Ten’s The Project, the Family Feud host, 42, said: ‘I know it’s real because I know what I saw with my two eyes. It was five to 10 times bigger than a normal domestic [cat].’

‘I saw it. My wife saw it. I have some hazy and shaky video footage of it but I promise you it is out there. Panthers are real,’ he added.

Grant went on to say there were sheep in the paddock nearby and he compared the size of the partner to the sheep.

‘There were sheep in the paddock. It’s literally five times bigger than a domestic cat,’ he said.

Reported sightings of black panthers in Australia first emerged over a 100 years ago, but there’s still no hard evidence of their existence.

In May, Grant revealed he installed cameras on his farm after apparently spotting the black panther twice on his property.

‘I’ll give you an exclusive and don’t think I’m crazy but I’m on the panther bandwagon right now,’ he told News.com.au.

He clarified: ‘I’m talking about the famous panthers that roam the Australian bush.’

Grant said he’s seen the animal twice at the bottom of his farm, and claims to have video proof, even though it’s ‘blurry and zoomed 10 times on my iPhone’.

He said he recently installed ‘infrared and motion-detecting night cameras’ on his property in the hope of getting a better look at the animal.

Grant also shared a video of what he believes was the black panther on his Facebook page in November 2018.
