Bachelor star Nicole Campbell impressed Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert with her sexy moves and high-kicks on Wednesday’s premiere.

But the professional dancer’s successful career almost came to an abrupt end last year when she suffered a devastating injury.

‘My heart was broken. Years of training, auditions and plans for more years of contracts were shattered in one roll of a stupid ankle,’ the 26-year-old said.

Throughout her career, Nicole has worked on Princess Cruises and in Los Angels as a Hollywood dancer.

The injury caused a lot of heartache for Nicole, who credits her close friends and family for getting her through a ‘tough year’ with ‘multiple breakdowns’.

Nicole, who is based in New South Wales, was not able to dance for eight months as she endured months of physiotherapy for multiple, completely torn ligaments.

She said the injury was so bad she ‘almost needed surgery’, and couldn’t work at all for a few months.  

Thankfully, Nicole says thinks are looking up and she’s ‘worked her butt off to be back dancing and teaching’.  

Nicole is a dance teacher for Sydney’s Classique Dance and is represented by Dargie Entertainment.   

The vibrant brunette proved her ankle was as strong as ever on Wednesday night’s premiere – which was filmed in February – as she twirled, high-kicked and performed the famous Dirty Dancing lift with Locky at the cocktail party.

The special treatment has already made some of her rivals envious.

Marketing coordinator Laura Calleri, 24, were seen fuming, claiming: ‘I can be in the same f**king outfit and do a high kick. Do I literally need to make some big f**king song and dance to get some time with him [Locky]?’
