The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert was smitten with Bella Varelis the moment he saw her on Wednesday’s Bachelor premiere.
But now new photos have cast doubt on the budding connection after Bella was caught with Locky’s friend and US Bachelorette star, Dean Unglert.
In recently resurfaced Instagram photos, the brunette beauty was seen cuddling up to the handsome American on the beach.

A bikini-clad Bella was seen relaxing on a towel while Dean affectionately nestled into her shoulder for the photograph, taken in January last year.
Fuelling rumours the pair were more than friends was a comment by New Zealand Bachelorette star Lily McManus, who starred alongside Dean in the Bachelor spin-off Winter Games in 2018.
‘Hahaha did deanie babes help with this one?’ To which Bella replied: ‘He had some contribution, I did most of the hard work.’

‘Lookin like a whole damn meal,’ he wrote under the star’s promotional photograph of him in a suit while holding a rose.
Dean is currently dating US Bachelor star Caelynn Miller-Keyes. The couple met on season six of Bachelor In Paradise US.

Bella has become a clear favourite on the show and with Locky after he got momentarily ‘lost in her eyes’ after while on the red carpet.
This week, Locky was forced to shut down claims he is dating either Bella or fellow frontrunner Irena Srbinovska, 31.
Speaking to KIIS FM’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Wednesday, he dismissed the current odds favourable to the two women.

He pointed out that he too had been an early bookies’ favourite to take the Survivor crown, but didn’t end up winning.
It comes as TAB’s latest betting odds strongly suggest that the winner of The Bachelor has been leaked.
The bookmaker had Irena and Bella as joint favourites to win Locky’s heart, with equal odds of $2.50.
Their closest rival is aspiring actress Marlaina McPhillips.
She is at $6 and is the only other contestant in single figures.
The Bachelor continues on Channel Ten, Thursday, 7.30pm.
