The Bachelor’s Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert was left speechless after meeting Areeba Emmanuel during Wednesday night’s premiere.
Prior to arriving on the red carpet, the 25-year-old home loan officer asserted ‘she’s the boss in a relationship’.
‘I’m boss at work, I’m boss at home and I’m a boss with my relationship. I don’t let anybody get in my way. I am a very competitive person,’ she told producers.

After walking out of the car and meeting Locky, Areeba made sure he knew she liked being in charge.
‘I would say about 80 per cent of the time I’m the boss. And [my boyfriend] needs to figure out when he needs to be the boss,’ she said.
‘Yeah, ok. I like it,’ a stunned Locky said as Areeba added: ‘I hope you like bossy girls because I’m all that.’
‘I’m fun, I’m bossy and I’m everything that you dream of,’ she said as she entered the mansion.

Many viewers’ flocked to twitter, claiming Areeba’s confident personality was going to ‘make this season interesting that’s for sure.’
‘We have no choice but to stand Areeba. She won’t end up with Locky but my god will she be good on Paradise,’ one person tweeted.
‘What not to say on a first interaction… just watch Areeba on The Bachelor,’ another said.
