And in a very telling sign of who could steal the hunky adventure guide’s heart, Matthew’s fiancee Laura Byrne has thrown her full support behind frontrunner, Bella Varelis.
Laura, who was also tipped to take home the final rose at the start of her season in 2017, left a very noticeable comment on Bella’s Instagram, earlier this week.

Following Matty J’s success on the dating program, Locky revealed last week to WHO magazine that he turned to the former Bachelor for advice when he was struggling with dating his bevvy of beauties.
‘Matty J’s a really good friend of mine so I asked him for a few tips,’ he said.
‘He told me to prepare for really long days, prepare to switch my emotions on and off between each different connection I make with the girls I meet, and be present with who I’m with in each moment,’ he explained.

Meanwhile, a promo released by Channel 10 last month shows that Bella sweeps Locky off his feet with her big brown peepers as soon as they meet on the red carpet.
‘Oh wow, you look absolutely amazing,’ Locky says in the trailer, to which Bella replies: ‘Thank you, so do you. Very dapper.’
After a moments pause, he adds: ‘Sorry I just got lost in your eyes, they’re beautiful.’
