A host of celebrities have congratulated Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell on the happy news they are expecting their first child, amid the devastating coronavirus pandemic.
After the young couple announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday, a number of famous names sent their well wishes to the pair.
The likes of Millie Bobby Brown, Perez Hilton, Curtis Stone and Lisa Wilkinson gushed over the duo, while comedian and TV star Rove McManus thanked them for ‘spreading the joy right when we need it.’

On Tuesday, Bindi, 22, announced she’s expecting her first child with former wakeboarder Chandler, 23.
In an Instagram post, Bindi wrote: ‘Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021. Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting!’
‘It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter.’

In the accompanying photo, Bindi and Chandler, 23, posed side by side in their Australia Zoo uniforms, holding up a tiny version of the outfit for their little one.
The announcement comes a week after Bindi had her 22nd birthday at Australia Zoo – her last public appearance before she announced her pregnancy.
Bindi celebrated by feeding the crocodiles, alongside her husband Chandler, brother Robert Irwin and mother Terri Irwin.
The conservationist excitedly ran out and greeted awaiting crowds, ready to put on a death-defying show.
The couple were married less than five months ago on March 25, in a makeshift ceremony at Australia Zoo.

The Irwin matriarch, 56, posted a photo of the expectant couple holding up a tiny version of the Australia Zoo uniform, and also told her followers that the news was bittersweet following her husband Steve’s death almost 14 years ago.
She began: ‘This is the best day ever! I am over the moon to announce that @BindiIrwin and @chandlerpowell9 are going to have a baby!’
‘Words cannot express the love that is filling my heart. While I wish that Steve was here to share this beautiful moment, I know that he would be so proud,’ she added.
Steve, died tragically 14 years ago, when Bindi was eight years old. The Crocodile Hunter was pierced in the chest by a stingray barb in 2006.
