‘Terrified’ Katie Price has been warned by doctors that she could ‘lose a leg’

She broke both of her feet while on holiday in Turkey and Katie Price has been left terrified after doctors warned her she could lose her leg if it gets infected.

The 42-year-old mother-of-five has been told she may not walk for over a year and requires major surgery but there is certainly no quick fix.   

The Sun have reported that doctors have given Katie a blunt medical warning that she must heed after her operation.

A source said: ‘Katie’s doctors have warned her she must take her recovery seriously and it’s left her terrified.

‘She’s prone to getting infections after operations, and her surgeon says she could lose a leg if her feet get infected.

‘She’ll have to be so, so careful – she’ll have medical professionals on call 24/7 – and change the dressings regularly. She’s got a long road ahead of her.’

Despite her health woes, Katie is currently loved up with new man, Carl Woods, although he was not with her when she was pictured out in Surrey on Tuesday. 

Katie looked a little down in the dumps as a friend wheeled her in her chair, showing off her pink and purple glittery casts. 

It’s clear that despite everything Katie has been going through, she’s determined to keep an optimistic outlook.

Katie has been prone to infections in the past. She famously risked getting sepsis while in the Big Brother house back in 2015 after corrective surgery got infection, leaving an open wound. 

And face surgery last year also became infected, which she documented on her Quest Red reality show, Katie Price: My Crazy Life.
