In order to do that, Matt wanted to ensure that Ciarran would not come between them.

‘For me, getting out of here, it’d just be easier to know that you’re done with that, because I want to have a relationship with Renee,’ Matt said.

‘If I wanted to come in between it, I could’ve easily done it,’ Ciarran responded. ‘I could’ve been the biggest d**khead ever. I feel like I’ve handled it quite well.’

He later told Ciarran: ‘At the end of the day, I don’t want you to have any contact with her. It’s just going to be easier for me to know that you’re done with Renee. So, I’m just going to leave it at that.’
