He previously admitted to falling ‘head over heels’ in love with one of the ladies.

And while The Bachelor’s Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert has to keep his new girlfriend under wraps until his season airs – he admits that’s all part of the fun.

‘Keeping it a secret, for now, is all just part of the fun of being the Bachelor,’ the 31-year-old adventure guide told WHO magazine this week.

For now, the former Survivor star says the pair are keeping their love alive through talking on the phone.

‘We talk on the phone all the time,’ he said.

‘We were on a call for three hours this morning and five hours yesterday!’

Naughty! He also revealed he doesn't mind being in a secret relationship - and thinks it is 'fun'. 'Keeping it a secret, for now, is all just part of the fun of being the Bachelor,' the 31-year-old adventure said (Pictured with one of the women on The Bachelor)

It probably isn’t too different from how their romance will unfold on the screen after Locky was forced to date his bevvy of beauties via Zoom when production was shut down in March due to the coronavirus outbreak.

While Locky admitted to being ‘devastated’ at the time, he confessed it turned out to be a great thing, forcing him to get to know the women on a personal level, rather than a physical one.

‘It was devastating. I was on a high, making these crazy connections and then it was thought we might be done and we’d all go home,’ he told TV Week on Monday.

‘I was lucky enough to keep in contact with the girls, and have an even better connection with them,’ he said.

‘We took the physicality out of it and got to know each other on a personal level.’

An extended promo released by Channel 10 this week shows how the Zoom dates will unfold.

Meanwhile, Locky confirmed to New Idea on Monday that despite the challenges of lockdown, he’d managed to choose a winner and was ‘in love’.

‘I can say with a big old smile on my face that I have definitely found love and I’m over the bloody moon right now,’ he said.
