The Bachelor: Rachael Arahill looks unrecognisable a year after being kicked off Matt Agnew’s season

She was unceremoniously dumped from The Bachelor last year after Matt Agnew discovered she was flirting with a male producer.

And in the 12 months since the scandal, Rachael Arahill has completely transformed her appearance – so much so that fans may struggle to recognise her today.

Now the host of a popular podcast, she has traded in her voluminous blonde locks and plumped-up lips for a classy, understated look.

The 24-year-old personal trainer sports a chic bob hairstyle these days, and has also laid off the dermal filler – resulting in an overall more natural appearance.

Rachael chopped off her long hair in early March, and her fans were instantly delighted with the results.

‘So stunning,’ one of her Instagram followers wrote, while another added: ‘So pretty… it frames your face so well.’

During her stint on The Bachelor’s seventh season, viewers noticed that Rachael’s lips seemed to be getting bigger every episode.

This was because she’d had filler injected just before filming began in March 2019.

Swelling is a common side effect after getting fillers, as the lips continue to grow for several days before settling down.

Alcohol also causes the blood vessels to dilate, leading to bruising and swelling that results in a plumper appearance.

Consequently, her lips looked even bigger during the cocktail parties, where the women are known to drink heavily.

Her plump pout aside, Rachael is best remembered for her flirtation with a Bachelor producer, which resulted in her being kicked off the show.

She had allegedly given the male staffer her phone number and told the other contestants he was her ‘Plan B’.

Astrophysicist Matt was furious when he found out and summarily sent her packing.
