The Don’t Think I’m Not singer last month got back to work on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, telling Extra that Bravo was taking every precaution in restarting production of the Peach State series.

‘It’s a lot of rules because more than anything they care about our safety,’ the College Park, Georgia native told the outlet.

She said that she and her castmates were ‘getting tested all the time,’ as ‘that’s what we have to do to be to continue to tape together.

‘We have to make sure everyone’s status is negative.’

Kandi, who’s also been seen on The Masked Singer, The Kandi Factory and Kandi’s Wedding, also spoke about her role on The Chi as Roselyn, as she ‘was a fan of the show for a long time’ prior to being cast on it.

‘I watched Season one and two with my husband all the time,’ she said. ‘I was so excited when the opportunity came up.

‘At first, I thought it wasn’t going to work out because of scheduling conflicts with Housewives. I had auditioned for a different part initially, but then when this role came up, scheduling-wise it all worked out and so I was so happy.’

Asked about how Tucker reacts to her love scenes on the show, she said, ‘I had to ask my husband, “Are you okay with this?,” and at first he was, like, iffy.

‘But then he thought about it and was like… “Okay. Go ahead. I know this is your dream. Go ahead and make it happen.”’
