What happened to the ‘Yoplait Petit Miam’ girl? ’90s child star resurfaces

What happened to the ‘Yoplait Petit Miam’ girl? Child star from the iconic yoghurt adverts is now in her thirties – and you’ll NEVER guess what she looks like

She starred in the famous series of commercials for Yoplait Petit Miam in the ’90s.

And while many millennials will recall the advert’s catchphrase (‘Yoplait Petit Miam… it’s French for mmm… yum!’) the child star in the campaign was just as memorable.

Despite her young age, Jessica Fallico spoke in a flawless French accent in the ad, which also starred another pint-sized actor as her little brother.

The advert begins with Jessica saying, ‘This is Yoplait Petit Miam in a tube. You can eat it walking, running…’

But then her brother snatches the yoghurt and runs away from her.

The little boy is later shown eating the yoghurt behind an archway, as Jessica shouts after him.

Yoplait fame: 'I don't get recognised anymore. But as soon as people spell it out to others. The joy that comes on people's faces,' Jessica (pictured) said candidly

Back in 2018, Jessica spoke about the advert the made her famous.

She told 2GB that while she doesn’t get recognised anymore, she still sees the ‘joy’ in people’s faces when they find out who she is.

Sadly, she didn’t keep in touch with the ‘little French kid’ who played her brother because he lived in Melbourne while she was based in Sydney.

‘We never saw each other again,’ she said. ‘It’s a long lost brother and sister.’

In addition to her Yoplait fame, Jessica appeared in adverts for Internet provider Bigpond and discount supermarket chain Aldi.

Funnily enough, her Bigpond advert also featured a little girl being pestered by her younger brother.

More recently, Jessica has worked as a theatre director, overseeing productions of Shrek The Musical and Legally Blonde at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta
