Hilary Duff dotes on son Luca, 8, as she treats youngster to frozen yogurt in Los Angeles
She revealed last month that she might let her son Luca decide whether to return to the classroom or continue remote learning in the new school year.
And on Tuesday, Hilary Duff was seen taking her eight-year-old out for an icy treat as they spent some mom and me time together.
The actress and singer, 32, kept an affectionate arm around the youngster’s shoulders as they left a frozen yogurt store in Los Angeles.

Duff shares Luca with her ex-husband Mike Comrie from whom she split in 2014 and officially divorced in 2016.
She’s also mom to daughter Banks, 20 months, with second husband Matthew Koma.
The Younger star was casually dressed for the outing in an on trend long-sleeve tie dye top paired with dark red cycling shorts.
Her long hair was loose and she accessorized with her favorite large gold hoop earrings and a necklace.

Luca is set to begin third grade this fall and in an interview with People in July, Duff explained she’s still waiting to see how his private school decides to proceed in the midst of the ongoing COIVID-19 pandemic.
‘If it’s just strictly learning and no social interaction … I guess I would let him make the choice,’ she said.
‘For his emotional well-being, I think it would be great if he could go back to school, but also it depends on what that looks like,’ she added. ‘If he was going and it was super sterile and it wasn’t benefiting him [in a social way], I would be up for remote learning again.’
As coronavirus cases surge in California, many public school districts have decided to keep campuses closed and to begin the new school year with remote learning.
This includes the Los Angeles Unified School District as well districts serving other areas of Los Angeles County and neighboring counties.
Even private schools, however, are required to abide by rules put in place by their local public health authorities who, in turn, take their lead from the state’s Governor Gavin Newsom.
