Bachelor In Paradise fans rally behind Kiki Morris’ mum Mary-Anne after she grills Ciarran Stott

Kiki Morris’ mum, Mary-Anne, emerged as an unlikely hero during Wednesday’s episode of Bachelor In Paradise.

Fans rallied behind the 32-year-old’s mother after she gave Ciarran Stott, who’s been dating Kiki on the show, a grilling.

Ahead of their one-on-one conversation, Ciarran, 26, was confident he’d be able to ‘charm’ Mary-Anne, but he quickly discovered that wasn’t the case.

Mary-Anne criticised Ciarran’s bad behaviour on the show, slamming him for hooking up with other girls and failing to tell Kiki about it.

‘It’s a real dog act, actually. Do you think she deserves that?’ Mary-Anne asked the shaken reality star.

Fans loved it, praising Mary-Anne on Twitter and claiming she’d said what viewers at home had been thinking.  

‘Go go go KIKI’s mom! Yaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!! Thank you!!!’ tweeted one fan, while another wrote, ‘Kiki’s mum is saying to Ciarran what we have been wanting to say this whole season!!’ 

Added another viewer: ‘I feel as though Kiki’s mum is telling Ciarran off for all of Australia and we applaud’.

Several fans even claimed Mary-Anne had helped to improve 2020, after what has been an undeniably difficult year for everyone.     

‘Kiki’s mum improving 2020 for all of us by calling out Ciarran and his dirty dog ways,’ tweeted one viewer, while another wrote, ‘If Kiki’s mum calls Ciarran “a dog c***” 2020 will be worth it’. 

Another fan commented that they were ‘delighted to watch Ciarran being dragged over the coals’.  

Mary-Anne slammed Ciarran for not being upfront with her daughter about the other girls he’d slept with on Bachelor In Paradise.

‘It’s very hard to start a relationship on some sort of selfish, ego-tripping guy,’ she told him.

But Ciarran insisted he had been honest with Kiki, labelling himself ‘the most honest person in Paradise’.   

‘P**s off. That’s just crap. You’re a lying, cheating dog,’ said Mary-Anne.
