A trio of squirrels have been spotted peering out from a chimney stack in London after making it their home.

Homeowner John Selby captured the sweet family moment at a house in Willesden Green.

The squirrels opted for a more stable home in the leafy suburbs instead of their usual hideouts in the countryside.

The cheeky chimney sweeps at one point made an optical illusion of the world’s longest squirrel when one of them poked their head out one side and another stuck its tail out the back.

They played in the vacant chimney pot, having fun darting in and out and peeking out of their new home.

At one point the sweet creatures were even seen playing a game of chase, running after each other’s tails.
