‘Just like, “If you bring this up, I’m bringing this up, but don’t you dare say a word on the lounge, just sit there,” and that’s why you’ll see me very quiet.’

She added: ‘I was like, “Just get me the hell out of here, away from this psycho.”‘

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Monday, Stacey claimed the stress of being around Michael left her needing prescription medication.

‘Throughout the series he would come home drunk and put me down, saying, “You’re only here to get famous, so let’s just pretend to get along,”‘ she said.

‘I would be crushed, and I would sleep on the lounge and cry.’

Stacey added that towards the end of the series, Michael warned her not to discuss intimate details about his ‘private life’.

‘I called my doctor for a prescription of Valium [an anti-anxiety medication] for the last episode.’
