‘They seem to have run out of memorable people’: Bachelor In Paradise fans have no idea who intruder Mia Mackinnon is… but they’re intrigued by her height
Despite getting quite the introduction from Kiki Morris, most fans had no idea who Mia Mackinnon was when she walked into Bachelor In Paradise on Monday.
The leggy 28-year-old made jaws drop with her impressive height, but many viewers maintained they’d never seen her before, despite her appearance on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor in 2016.
‘They seem to have run out of memorable people #BachelorInParadiseAU,’ tweeted one confused viewer, while another added, ‘I’ve literally never seen Mia before in my life’.

One person commented: ‘They really are scrapping [sic] the bottom of the barrel because I don’t think anyone remembers Mia’.
But others were simply blown away by her height, with Mia towering over many of the guys on the show.
‘Is Mia on stilts,’ asked one viewer, while another tweeted, ‘Mia is probably the first girl who’s walked in that I didn’t know but went WOW.’

Her height quickly became a running joke on the show, with Jackson Garlick riding in on a co-star’s shoulders to greet her.
‘Hello. I’m Jackson… I’m normally this tall,’ he laughed.
He later added: ‘She’s got most of the boys in here covered for height, but at least she has a chance to look up for once today.’

But jokes aside, Kiki, 32, claimed it was obvious the boys were intimidated by her friend’s height.
‘I don’t know if you’ve realised that the boys are quite short in this season of Bachelor In Paradise, so they’re automatically very intimidated by her,’ she said.
Mia’s entrance came after Keely Spedding arrived on the show on Sunday, stirring up more drama for what will be an undeniably explosive final week for the show.
