After plenty of tense moments leading up and during her daughter’s neurosurgery on Thursday, Teddi Mellencamp’s five-month-old little girl is resting and recovering well.
And on Saturday the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star took to Instagram to give fans and followers an update on her condition, and share an encouraging message of hope that’s helped her get through these trying days.
The uplifting post came from another mother who also has a child that has been diagnosed with the same rare skull condition called Lambdoid Craniosynostosis, which can result in an abnormally shaped head.

Teddi also shared a black-and-white picture of the proud mom feeding Baby Dove as she looked right into the camera with her head bandaged up.
In another image taken at the hospital, Mellencamp gave an update on her girl across a photo of herself lying in a bed with the emphasis on her cup of coffee.
‘Long night for my angel baby but wow she is so strong and resilient. Love her so much,’ she wrote.
She also shared a heartfelt clip of Dove all bandaged up as she made cute baby noises that elicited a big beaming smile from her daughter.

Mellencamp then took to the caption to give thanks and identify the source.
‘thank you to the fellow cranio mama for sending this to me today,’ she wrote.
