Deborah Hutton shares an update on her recovery after having surgery to remove two skin cancers – and reveals the VERY unusual product she’s using on her facial scars

Media personality Deborah Hutton has revealed her amazing recovery after having surgery to remove two skin cancers from her face.

This week the 58-year-old made an appearance on The Morning Show, to give an update on the healing process.  

She explained to hosts Larry Edmur and Kylie Gillies that she is feeling ‘great’ and that her scars are healing well.

‘I’m great, I am very fortunate to have strong skin and I am healing really well,’ she said. 

‘I suppose a really important thing is trying to take the fear away from having surgery that’s necessary because trust me, I know that skin heals.’  

Deborah looked happy and healthy during the interview, wearing a pink silk shirt and her blonde locks loose.

She showed of her youthful visage with minimal makeup and her facial scars were barely visible during her appearance.  

Deborah said that she’s healed so well because she had a good doctor. 

‘The first thing you have got to do is find your self a decent surgeon,’ Deborah said. 

‘Then it’s about getting any scar healing cream and really massaging it. And at the moment I am doing a little bit of laser which is helping to stimulate the collagen in the skin and do some healing.’ 

But, the blonde beauty admitted that she is also using one very unusual product on her facial scars.

‘I just throw everything at it.’ she added. ‘Someone sent me crocodile oil the other day and I was like, “yep I’ll put that on there.”

In June Deborah revealed she’d had surgery to remove two skin cancers from her face and shared a photo of the stitches on her upper lip and nose area. 

‘I have ummed and aahhed about posting this, but after having the stitches out from another major surgery to remove two skin cancers, and being extremely grateful they’ve got it all, I feel it’s only right to remind you to get your skin checked!’ she captioned the photo on Instagram.

‘Please. Early detection is everything! Don’t delay,’ she added.
