But Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert was left speechless when one suitress asked him an eyebrow-raising question during their first red carpet meeting.
In a new trailer for the show, marketing coordinator Laura Calleri, 24, asked the 31-year-old how much he’d spend on her if they dated.

After stepping out of the car, the brunette beauty told producers: ‘I quite enjoy the Louis Vuitton handbag, nice Chanel earrings, Porsche Cayenne Turbo… I’m a snob.’
Laura then introduced herself to Locky, before asking him: ‘When we’re together how much will you spend on my birthday present?’
A stunned Locky replied: ‘What’s the craziest gift you’ve been given?’

Laura then revealed that she’d previously received a Louis Vuitton purse as a birthday gift, leaving the suitor shocked.
‘Aren’t they a couple grand?’ he asked.
‘I can definitely get you a Louis ‘Vuiccon’ bag in Bali, don’t worry about that,’ he later said in a piece to camera.

Meanwhile, in a previous trailer, the handsome suitor is seen fawning over contestant Steph, 26, after she revealed her obsession with beef burritos.
Steph is first seen introducing herself to Locky on the red carpet, before he asks her a very important question: ‘Do you eat burgers all the time?’
Steph was quick to answer: ‘Burritos are my favourite.’

The couple then playfully argued about Steph’s favourite burrito topping – spicy jalapeno sauce.
Despite Locky admitting that he’s not a fan of spicy food, the hunk was clearly still smitten with the slender beauty.
‘First impressions of Steph, love a girl that loves a burrito,’ he told producers with a smile.
The Bachelor premieres on Wednesday, August 12 at 7:30pm on Channel 10
