YouTuber Friendlyjordies exposes the ‘fake dialogue’ trick used by Bachelor in Paradise producers – as Jamie Doran sues Channel 10 over hurtful editing

YouTube star Friendlyjordies has exposed how Bachelor in Paradise producers manipulated audio snippets to construct Jamie Doran’s ‘fake dialogue’ on the show.

The editing trick, known as ‘frankenbiting’, involves different pieces of audio being cut together in post-production to form a completely new sentence.

In his latest video, the popular vlogger (whose real name is Jordan Shanks) revealed how the frankenbiting technique was used during an episode that aired last week.

Trade secrets: YouTube star Friendlyjordies has exposed how Bachelor in Paradise producers manipulated audio snippets to construct Jamie Doran’s ‘fake dialogue’ on the show

He demonstrated how Jamie’s date with Brittney Weldon was heavily edited to make it appear as if he did not pick up on the obvious signs that she was attracted to him.

‘I think that was nice, but unfortunately I’m not getting any romantic signals from Brittany at all,’ Jamie said in the episode that went to air.

Friendlyjordies commented, ‘Well, we all know why there was a Frank-bit: there’s no way Jamie wasn’t picking up on that vibe.’

‘You didn’t have to edit this to make it more uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable enough,’ he added.

It comes just a day after the 40-year-old reality star threatened legal action against Channel 10 for unfairly portraying him as a ‘stage-five clinger’ on Paradise.

Jamie, who also received a similar edit on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette last year, announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday.

'We all know why there was a Frank-bit, there's no way Jamie wasn't picking up on that vibe,' the YouTuber suggested
