Riley Keough gets inked with a tattoo in honor of her late brother Ben and shares a photo with him

Rile Keough has been honoring her late brother Benjamin, who died at 27-years-old from a self inflicted gunshot wound, on July 13.

The actress, 31, shared that she got a tattoo on her collar bone reading ‘Benjamin Storm,’ in script handwriting, her brother’s first and middle names.

She went on to share a photo with her brother in her series of posts celebrating him and their close sibling bond.

Peeling back protective wrap, she showed the tattoo reading her brother’s name, along with a red heart emoji.

Riley also shared a photo of her name in a tattoo, that appeared to be on her brother before his death.

She went on to share several photos and videos with Benjamin, and fun times they had together.

In one selfie, the siblings seemed to sit together at a table, both with decorated wraps around their heads.

The actress went on to share memories in hotel rooms, and a video Benjamin took of her showing her smiling as he talked to her.

She remembered her brother’s happy moments, showing casual hang outs and lazy days inside together.

But the tragedy was far from Riley’s mind in the throwbacks.

The first video had the siblings goofing around on the couch, with the Zola actress donning a black turtleneck while Ben was bundled up in a grey Adidas hoodie.

Another clip showed Ben dancing in the kitchen, then getting embarrassed and walking away from the camera with a grin.

‘Stop, I hate it,’ he told his sister.

His camera shyness flared up again in a video Riley took during a car ride.

Keough paid tribute to Ben with a heartbreaking Instagram post earlier this month, calling her little brother ‘pure light.’

‘Mornings are the hardest,’ she explained. ‘I forget you’re gone. I can’t cry because of the fear that I will never stop. A pain that’s new to me.’

‘You. There are no words for you. Angel is the closest I could think of. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector. Too sensitive for this harsh world.

‘I hope you give me strength to endure the giant hole you’ve left in my heart. I hope you give me the strength to eat. I hope you’re cradled in love. I hope you feel my love. I hope you feel god. You are god. I can’t believe you’ve left me. Not you sweet Ben Ben. Anyone but you. I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again.’

Ben’s friends are also reeling from the loss.

Close friend boxer Victor Ortiz said his death has been ‘a hard one to swallow,’ during a conversation with The Sun.

‘He was an angel,’ he told the paper. ‘One of the best humans I ever met. Depression takes some of the best people in the world.’

Victor said they were very close and credited Ben with helping him set his life straight.

’14 years ago I was broke with two jobs. I told him then, I don’t have much to offer, but a hand in friendship. He smacks my hand out of the way then kisses me and shakes my hand.’

And Victor had some insight into the Presley-Keough family’s pain, telling The Sun: ‘His family is hurt.’

Benjamin died by a self-inflicted gunshot on July 13.

DailyMail.com reported the sequence of events last week.

Neighbors heard Benjamin partying at his mother Lisa Marie Presley’s $1.8 million Calabasas, California, home late on Saturday July 12 – his girlfriend Diana Pinto’s birthday – before hearing a woman believed to be Pinto screaming ‘don’t do it’ in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Lisa Marie’s manager previously said: ‘(Lisa) is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.’

Benjamin was the son of Lisa Marie – only child of superstar Elvis – and musician Danny Keough. Lisa Marie had previously spoken of Benjamin’s similarity to Elvis, calling their resemblance ‘uncanny.’
