Brooke Shields lifts weights and shows her agility in at-home workout from the Hamptons

Brooke Shields isn’t letting the quarantine slow her down.

The 55-year-old model/actress was seen in her in her native Hamptons Tuesday going through a series of exercises, as she has done on a weekly basis in the four-plus months of quarantine amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Jane the Virgin actress donned a white crop top with blue print leggings and black sneakers as she underwent a gauntlet of exercises at her luxe New York state abode.

She demonstrated some of the exercises she’s used to stay in shape amid the changing times.

‘The stronger the body, the stronger the mind: The only thing I can control is what I do physically,’ she said on Instagram last week during a workout session.

The Pretty Baby star was pictured lifting grey dumbbells and also moving her body into various poses with the weights in hand.

Shields, who is mom to daughters Rowan, 17, and Grier, 14, with her husband, screenwriter Chris Henchy, 56, beamed as she wore her brown locks up in a ponytail during the rigorous workout.

The beautiful star has taken to Instagram Live on Wednesday mornings to stream her workout sessions with trainer Ngo Okafor.

In a Q&A she did in May with InTouch, Shields said said that she feels ‘physically better than ever’ in her early 50s, and encourages her peers to focus on their fitness.

‘People my age can get crossed off at a certain point – like you’ve had a good run, you’ve had your kids, you’ve had your career, you’re done,’ she said. ‘We can really inspire each other right now to do something within our power to feel better.

The Blue Lagoon star on Tuesday also took part in the #ChallengeAccepted movement that’s been circulating online, with women posting images of themselves in black and white and tagging the hashtag with the aim of empowering and supporting other women.

She wrote: ‘#ChallengeAccepted �� Let’s keep building each other up and spreading love.’

The stunning celeb thanked her friends Nancy Mendelson Gates, Dr. Elizabeth Hale and Brenda Battista for nominating her.

Shields was one of many famous faces to take part in the uplifting social media endeavor, as other celebs to share posts in the style included Jennifer Lopez, Kerry Washington, Jennifer Aniston, Gabrielle Union and Kristen Bell.
