‘My desire is to be slow to speak and quick to listen,’ he wrote in a candid post to his 142 million followers. ‘My desire is to see people the way God sees people. My desire is to have compassion for those who are hurting.’

Earlier this month, he thanked Jesus Christ on Instagram for allowing him to feel ‘loved, chosen, and forgiven’ despite years of past indiscretions.

He then urged his massive following to turn to faith, when they are struggling to overcome mistakes in their past.
