Amy Schumer shares a sweet snap of herself attempting to work from bed with her son Gene

Amy Schumer appears to be successfully navigating motherhood and work, all from the comfort of her own bed.

As the 39-year-old comedian seemed ready to record something special on her laptop, her one-year-old son, Gene, found a hilarious way to distract his busy mom.

‘Good tech support is hard to find,’ she joked of her little boy, who could be seen pulling down her headset on Monday.

To her more than ten million Instagram followers’ amusement, the I Feel Pretty star appeared to be enjoying a laid-back afternoon, which included staying in her pajamas and trying to be productive.

Gene, who the star shares with husband Chris Fischer, seemed determined to get Schumer’s attention, by sticking his thumb in her mouth.

Despite the disruption, the actress didn’t bat an eye by her tot’s action, during the  priceless moment, which was most likely caught by her spouse.

‘We are happy to be coming back for a second season because sequels are always the best!’ Amy quipped in a statement.

For her part, Amy, who was a bartender in her pre-fame days, shakes up a cocktail each episode to go along with the meal. However, in one, she hysterically just opened a bottle of California Chardonnay and called it a day.

The couple tackled brunch, tacos and pasta dishes during the first four episodes of the series – which they shot without a crew during quarantine.

Giving a whole new meaning to the term ‘nanny cam,’ Gene’s dedicated nanny actually stepped up to serve as the camera person for the network show.

While Chris does most of the heavy lifting in the kitchen, Amy’s real gig is providing some side-splitting comic relief.

In one episode she phoned best friend Jennifer Lawrence, shortly after the Oscar winner woke, to chat about their lockdown drinking habits.

While the return of the show is certainly great news for Amy, it does mean the return of her least favorite vegetable, fennel.

Chris has show his affinity for the anise flavored veggie, which somehow makes an appearance in every single episode.
