Earlier this year, Nadiya shed light on her close friendship with ex-goalkeeper David James, who she was partnered up with on 2019’s Strictly.
The fitness enthusiast – who is set to tie the knot to footballer Matija Skarabot – insisted ‘chemistry is important on the dance floor’ as she shut down romance rumours between her and the BT Sports pundit.
She told The Sun: ‘You have to have chemistry. Chemistry is important on the dance floor. But it doesn’t always mean that something is going on off-camera.

Nadiya confessed spending ‘so much time’ with another man proved difficult for her fiancé Matija, 32 – who she shares daughter Mila, three, with – but insisted her ‘supportive’ partner manages to cope with her job as he ‘knows the truth’.
