Bachelor in Paradise star Jarrod Woodgate has addressed his bitter split with Keira Maguire, accusing her of fuelling drama in a desperate bid to stay in the limelight.
When quizzed on the nature of his relationship with his ex on the So Dramatic! podcast, Jarrod admitted that there was ‘no feud between them’ and he had put their ill-fated romance behind him.
Jarrod also explained that while pictures emerged of him looking cosy with Keira at the Polo earlier this year, it ‘wasn’t a good experience’ as she immediately began bad-mouthing his friend, Alisha Aitken-Radburn.

Explaining the situation at the Polo, Jarrod explained: ‘I was hanging out with Alisha, and then Keira came up to me and said you shouldn’t trust her. She told me not to hang around with her.
‘I was like, “hang on a second, she’s my friend”. I like the person she [Alisha] is!’
Jarrod didn’t hesitate in addressing the bitter rivalry between Alicia and Keira – which is currently coming to the forefront on Bachelor in Paradise.
‘Keira would take all her energy to write to Alisha [on Instagram] about how she was acting on TV, and then it would just cause so much drama in the real world.’

He explained that Keira was angered that Alisha and Jules were ‘copying’ her storyline with him on the show.
Suddenly weary about the discussion centred at his ex, Jarrod noted: ‘If I say something else, it will give her ammo to come back at me just for publicity and money.’
He concluded: It’s more about Keira wanting to stay in limelight, and be centre of attention.

This comes after Keira admitted she initially declined the offer to return to the show after having ‘anxiety’ she would be face to face with her ex, Jarrod, once again.
After rising to fame on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor in 2016, Keira fell for Jarrod on Bachelor in Paradise in 2018 – but the pair dramatically split in August last year.
And Keira admitted she was apprehensive at giving the dating show another shot, telling TV WEEK: ‘When I went on the first season, I found someone, and it really didn’t end up that nice – I wasn’t desperate for a repeat.’

Keira and Jarrod’s relationship was one of the most prominent success stories to come out of Bachelor In Paradise before they tumultuously split.
Panicked that history would repeat itself, Keira recalled: ‘I haven’t seen him since the breakup, and we definitely don’t talk.
‘It would be full-on, intense, overwhelming and uncomfortable for everyone.’
While the show was filmed seven months ago, it looks like Keira had a brief change of heart.

The couple reunited in January this year, and quickly secured a joint deal to promote the food delivery service Deliveroo on Instagram.
But after weeks of speculation, Keira confirmed she had split with boyfriend Jarrod in April.
Jarrod has since moved onto former Bachelor star, Sam Royce.
