Bachelor in Paradise is rocked by scandal as a male contestant ‘hooks up with a female PRODUCER’ – before the couple ‘leave the island together’

He will have plenty of women to choose from when he enters Bachelor In Paradise this season. 

But Jackson Garlick, 26, is said to have found romance with a member of the production crew instead.  

‘[A female producer] had her eyes on a lot of the boys but she ended up hooking up with Jackson,’ an insider alleged to Woman’s Day magazine on Monday.

The couple were so serious about their new romance that they reportedly ‘left the island together’ and continued dating after filming had finished. 

Channel 10 has never started there is a rule prohibiting producers from having relationships with contestants on reality show. 

In fact, a ‘romance’ between a producer and a contestant was teased as a storyline on The Bachelor last year.

Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting the producer acted in an unprofessional manner by having a relationship with Jackson after the show.

Unfortunately, it seems Jackson’s ‘fling’ may not have lasted, as a Tinder account seemingly belonging him surfaced in April – just months after he arrived home from Fiji. 

At the time, Jackson alleged to Daily Mail Australia that the Tinder profile didn’t belong to him.

‘I’ve been sent screenshots of this profile on Tinder [before],’ he said. ‘Unfortunately for me, it’s a catfish,’ he claimed.  

However, the Tinder bio did appear to match important details of Jackson’s life.

The profile states: ‘Playing rugby league, studying psychology and making a few pies here and there.’

Jackson is captain of the Glebe Dirty Reds rugby team, studies at UNSW and works for his family business, Garlo’s Pies.  

The account didn’t mention his reality TV fame, but it does include a link to his verified Instagram page, which has 35,300 followers. 

Jackson first appeared on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette, but failed to receive a rose after hometown week.

He had previously applied to be on Georgia Love’s season of The Bachelorette when he was just 22.

Jackson told 10 Daily last year he had chosen The Bachelor franchise over other reality shows because of its higher success rate for lasting relationships.
