Tove Lo marries Charlie Twaddle as she gives fans a glimpse of her wedding dress

Singer Tove Lo has married boyfriend Charlie Twaddle.

The 32-year-old Swedish singer-songwriter gave fans a glimpse of her wedding dress as she posted a picture of herself and Charlie to her Instagram Stories on Saturday.

True to her quirky style, the 32-year-old simply captioned the post ‘Oops!’ as they both flashed their wedding bands from the ceremony.

Grammy-nominated Tove – best known for her worldwide 2014 smash Habits – looked stunning and elegant in her laced wedding gown. 

News of the ceremony coincided with the groom’s birthday, as Tove posted another series of snaps saying: ‘Happy Birthday to the love of my life ❤️ @seetwaddle.’

In an interview with Metro last year, the pop star spoke about their relationship, saying they weren’t quite ready to get hitched.

She said: ‘I guess I’ve found the person, and he is the same age as me, but I feel we are children ourselves so we just can’t.’

‘LA is where I met my boyfriend, although he is from New Zealand. He is a creative but not a musician and with his job he can travel with me,’ she added. 

‘The first year we were together, I was touring like crazy but, whenever I had time off, I flew back to LA to see him, no matter where I was.’

‘I would make up excuses and tell him I had another reason to come back so as not to put pressure on him!’

However, it now appears that Tove had quite the change of heart this year.
