Australian Ninja Warrior fans took a strong liking to policeman, rat owner and self-confessed geek Jake Baker on Sunday’s premiere episode.

Prior to attempting the course, the 28-year-old revealed his passion for playing Dungeons & Dragons once a week, taking on the role of ‘Dungeon Master’. 

One viewer asked whether he was single on Twitter, while another offered their hand in marriage.

‘I would like to marry Jake Baker, he is just perfect,’ one wrote, while another asked: ‘Is Jake Baker single?’

Another shared a photo of someone on bended knee, and said they would be happy to raise his rats together. 

‘This is my official proposal to Jake Baker from #NinjaWarriorAU. We can raise your rats together and be a family,’ they shared online.

Before running the Ninja Warrior course, Jake was seen taking on the role of ‘Dungeon Master’ with his friends in Melbourne.

Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy storytelling game, where one guides their ‘heroes’ through battles and quests for treasure.    

‘The dungeon master controls where you are, what happens, the monsters, the scenery, all of it comes together to try and make for the best gaming,’ Jake explained on camera.

Pet rats: The constable also revealed that he has three pet rats: 'They're good support pets. after a long day of training, you just want to veg out, they'll do the same thing'

‘I think rats get a really bad rap. They’re actually really clean animals. They’re extremely stealthy and they’re really good at balance,’ he continued.  

Jake placed fourth on the night, and will continue on to the semi-final. 

In an interview with news.com.au on Sunday, Jake revealed that he is in fact single and is ‘not averse to the idea’ of meeting someone through the show.
