Bachelor in Paradise star Timm Hanly’s new flame is identified as on/off girlfriend

The mystery brunette that Timm Hanly was spotted kissing and cuddling earlier this week has now been identified as his on/off ex-girlfriend of seven years.

Bachelor In Paradise viewers were left shocked when photos emerged of the 28-year-old packing on the PDA with former flame Briana De La Motte, despite his romance with Brittany Hockley playing out on the new season of the dating show.

The So Dramatic! podcast has now claimed Timm broke up with Brittany a few weeks after they left Paradise together and immediately got back with his ex – who he was said to be in contact with during his time on The Bachelorette last year. 

It’s revealed that inked reality star Timm had a tough time getting over his ex Briana, despite his stints on two of Australia’s biggest reality dating shows.

So Dramatic! Podcast host Megan Pustetto confirmed: ‘Timm and Brittany are not together [anymore]. They left Paradise together, but Timm ended things with her a few weeks after that, and she was devastated.

‘This week, Timm was spotted with a mystery brunette. She’s his ex-girlfriend who personally confirmed to me after The Bachelorette last year that her and Timm dated for five years and had been on/off for the last two years [sic]’.

It was added: ‘Timm told Briana just before Angie’s [Kent] season that he was going on the show and she wasn’t happy because they weren’t over yet.

‘There was still unfinished business between them. She didn’t want him to go and wanted them to work things out – but it was too late because he had already signed up to the show.’

Shockingly, Megan continued: ‘I am told they were still in contact during Angie’s season. Timm hadn’t gotten over their breakup and would talk about her constantly in the house.

‘They got back together once he was off the show, and they have been on/off since.

‘In the midst of this he somehow fit in a stint in Paradise, and a short-lived romance with Brittany Hockley.’

Discussing another contestant’s similar behaviour, it was ruthlessly added: ‘So basically, Timm is Ciarran [Stott] 2.0.’  

Seven months after filming wrapped on the dating show in Fiji, Timm looked smitten as he spent some cosy quality time with Briana, in the snaps which emerged earlier this week.

Timm and Brittany’s romance has been teased as a significant storyline for Bachelor in Paradise, with scenes showing the hunk flirtatiously placing a kiss on the brunette’s forehead as they cuddled up together on a daybed.

Brittany, who was brutally dumped by Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins on The Bachelor in 2018, told producers during the promo: ‘Timm in no way is my type. Never ever have I dated anybody like him.’

‘He really took me by surprise. [There’s] something about him that I want to get to know more,’ she said afterwards.
